The nice thing with the AA S400 Series rifles is that all the parts (including air tubes) are still available from AA and several other well-known airgun vendors. This AA XTRA FAC gets a 45-60 shot string with a 190 bar fill, depending on how the power adjuster is set - it can be quite stingy with regard to using air! This one is NOT regulated but uses the well-known AA tried & tested knock-open valve system. This rifle is currently tuned for JSB 10.34gr domes which is all I've ever used in it and is exceedingly quiet in the 800fps range where the transfer port adjuster power is set currently. Basically, you could expect an average of 953 fps with highest power, 867 with ½-power, and 743 with 1/3-power using JSB 10.34gr domes.
The S400 has a threaded muzzle ½-20 standard end cap to accept the screw-on LDC if desired. Further, if you are seriously interested you realize that this is a unique rifle with its stated qualities and extra features as opposed to an out-of-the-box model. If this airgun is not to your liking or interest, you may find one of my other current E-bay airgun listings more suitable. I will be listing quite a few quality airguns through 2024 so please be sure to check these current listings. Unfortunately, there are too many scammers getting airguns (especially vintage ones) and removing parts from them then trying to return the airgun... If you can't abide by these simple terms, this listed item is not for you!! My feedback is a 100 percent positive on E-Bay, Airgun Warriors BOI, American Airgun Classifieds, and the former Yellow Forum BOI.I truly regret that these terms may appear harsh to some but unfortunately my experience with dealings in today's world has necessitated these terms for my own protection. Please review all of the pictures listed and judge for yourself on the overall condition.
I will be happy to provide as many other pictures that you request if necessary but also remember that others are also considering purchasing this item so time is often of the essence. You will receive the exact item(s) listed and what you see is what you will receive. If you have any questions please ask them as I have no problems with total self-disclosure. Please be sure to research the airgun yourself to make sure this is a good fit for you and keep in mind that many vintage airguns or "higher-end" airgun listings may not be the best choice for novice or inexperienced airgunners. With older airguns the seals can fail anytime especially not knowing when seals were changed last, if ever.
If I have records that an airgun was resealed at a particular time I will disclose that, though I may not have actual records remaining. For privacy reasons I CANNOT disclose the names or contact information of my personal airgun tuners or airgunsmiths and I only do basic maintenance on my own airguns. I attempt to provide full disclosure, maintain a good reputation in the airgun world, and do not/will not sell junk or malfunctioning airguns unless stated otherwise in detail. Thanks for looking and feel free to ask any questions or request further pics prior to purchasing!
